Off the Felt collects nothing. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no server for the app to talk to. Nothing you do in the app is transmitted anywhere, because the app has no ability to transmit anything.

What the app stores, and where

Everything the app remembers is written to your device and stays there:

• Your progress through the levels, your XP, your streak, and how well you know each skill.
• Your practice reminder settings — the days and times you chose.

This data is held in the app's own storage on your iPhone. It is included in your device backup if you back up your iPhone, under whatever privacy terms apply to that backup (Apple's, if you use iCloud). Nobody else can read it, including the developer.

What the app does not do

• No account, email address, or password is ever requested.
• No analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, or usage tracking of any kind.
• No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
• No third-party SDKs.
• No network requests. The app works fully in airplane mode.
• No tracking across apps or websites, as defined by Apple's App Tracking Transparency.
• No real money, no wagering, and no link to any gambling operator.

Notifications

If you turn on a practice reminder, the app schedules a local notification on your device. Local notifications are handled entirely by iOS and are never sent through a server. You can turn them off inside the app, or in Settings.

Children

Off the Felt is not directed at children, and it collects no personal information from anyone — child or adult. It teaches the mathematics of poker; it contains no gambling, no wagering and no way to spend money.

Deleting your data

Use Clear progress on the Stats screen to erase your progress inside the app, or delete the app to remove everything it stored. There is no copy anywhere else to request, export, or ask to have deleted.

Changes

If a future version of the app ever collects anything, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the change will be described in the App Store release notes.
